About the instructor:
Dr. Austin Waffo Kouhoué is a faculty member and researcher at the University of Yaoundé I (Cameroon), where he teaches algorithms, Python and R programming, databases, and artificial intelligence. Affiliated with the Laboratory of Mathematical Engineering and Information Systems, his research focuses on the application of data mining and AI to public health and digital accessibility.
He is a recipient of the prestigious FE2025 international capacity-building program. This specialization in malaria modeling, conducted from April to August 2025 at Iba Der Thiam University in Thiès (Senegal) in collaboration with Northwestern University (United States), has provided him with cutting-edge expertise in the analysis of parasite transmission dynamics.
