The Secretariat provides administrative and logistical support for AMMnet activities, including activities of the Board, Advisory Board, Committees, Task Forces, and Subgroups.

Jaline Gerardin is a co-founder and Executive Director of AMMnet, Director of Analytics at AHADI, and formerly Associate Professor at Northwestern. She works on diverse initiatives in malaria modeling and analysis for evidence-informed decision-making and capacity development for public health analytics. Jaline chaired AMMnet’s Board from 2022-2025.

Shannon currently serves as Senior Administrator for AMMnet. With almost three decades of experience spanning the realms of business and marketing, project management, and research management, she has helped build programs, managed NIH cooperative agreement and center grants, worked on industry sponsored clinical trials, helped design a PI initiated study, and managed animal studies. Her passion for healthcare and capacity development and unyielding curiosity influences her career choices as well as her free time. She travels as much as time will allow, has lived in China, and worked in Uganda while finishing her Master of Science in Global Health from Northwestern University.

Ida Sagbo is the Francophone Administrator of AMMnet. With a background in translation, she focuses on coordinating activities for the French-speaking community within the network. This includes organizing meetings in French, managing French-language content and communications, and helping bridge collaboration between francophone and anglophone members. She’s also involved in membership follow-up, event planning, and general support to the Secretariat’s operations. Ida is passionate about community work and enjoys music and initiatives that bring people together across languages and cultures.

Hifzah Malik currently serves as Program Coordinator for AMMnet. In her current role, she has effectively managed day-to-day activities, ensuring seamless program execution while fostering strong relationships with members across diverse institutions such as academia, NGOs, donors, and government sectors. She is continuously drawn to AMMnet because of its mission in fostering relationships and creating a close-knit community. Hifzah is passionate about global health and localization, with more than 5 years of experience. Her expertise includes global health research background and stakeholder engagement with various organizations such as AMMnet, Global Network of Women Peacebuilders (GNWP), Aahung, UNFPA, and ChildFund International. In her free time, she loves to travel and explore different cultures. She received her Master of Public Health from Columbia University.
